Notice: wSTBT Transfer on Request from Zoth
Dear Matrixdock users,
This is an open notice that following Zoth’s formal request, an issuer-executed transfer of wSTBT tokens has been completed.
On 21 March 2025, Zoth reported an incident involving one of their other vaults, but their wSTBT vault was not affected. However, it was frozen as a precautionary measure. To mitigate risk and ensure secure continuity of operations, Zoth submitted a formal request of wSTBT transfer, with clarifications that the transfer is permitted by security experts and law enforcement agencies involved.
In response, after conducting the necessary legal, compliance, and risk assessments, Matrixdock have assisted in completing the transfer via the STBT contract admin using the controllerTransfer
function, in full alignment with the STBT protocol’s operational framework and governance structure.
On 3 July 2025, 2,819,088.62 wSTBT tokens have been transferred from the old wSTBT vault 0x800BaE296599D2cAB2202CF7D21De96504B5ACa8 to the new address 0x1772b87737A0C7FB7fd3E13400022F0F30c8D020. (https://etherscan.io/tx/0x9ec983260298bf6d35ac6b916c4c00b73311bc1715c7b472c794ccd150f6518d)
We emphasize that such issuer-executed transfers are strictly governed by internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational standards.
Matrixdock remains committed to transparency, security, and responsible token management.
