Minting & Redeeming

Minting Process

1. Log in to your Matrixdock account, complete the KYC verification, and bind your Web3 wallet.

2. Visit https://app.matrixdock.com/xaum/mint:

   1. Select the chain you plan to use.

   2. Enter the type and amount of stablecoin you plan to use for the purchase.

   3. Set the maximum acceptable price slippage.

   4. The real-time price and corresponding XAUm amount will be displayed. This result includes currency fees.

3. Approve your Web3 wallet to send stablecoins to the Matrixdock address.

4. If you confirm the estimated price and the slippage, please complete the stablecoin transfer in 60 seconds to initiate the order.

5. Matrixdock will process orders immediately during trading hours:

   1. Trading hours: 6:00 PM - 5:00 PM+1 New York Time on working days

   2. If the trading price is within your set maximum slippage, the order will be executed immediately.

   3. If the price is outside your set maximum slippage during the trading hours, your order will be canceled. Matrixdock will contact you to provide a new quote or initiate a refund.

6. After order execution, Matrixdock will provide you with the final transaction price and the corresponding XAUm amount. XAUm will be delivered within T+3.

Redemption Process

1. Log in to your Matrixdock account, complete the KYC verification, and bind your Web3 wallet.

2. Visit https://app.matrixdock.com/xaum/redeem:

   1. Select the chain you plan to use.

   2. Enter the amount of XAUm you plan to redeem.

   3. Set the maximum acceptable price slippage.

3. The real-time price and corresponding stablecoin amount will be displayed. This result includes currency fees. This result includes redemption fees and currency fees.

4. If you confirm the estimated price and the slippage, please complete the XAUm transfer in 60 seconds to initiate the order.

5. Matrixdock will process orders immediately during trading hours:

   1. Trading hours: 6:00 PM - 5:00 PM+1 New York Time on working days

   2. If the trading price is within your set maximum slippage, the order will be executed immediately.

   3. If the price is outside your set maximum slippage during the trading hours, your order will be canceled. Matrixdock will contact you to provide a new quote or initiate a refund.

6. After order execution, Matrixdock will provide you with the final transaction price and the corresponding stablecoin amount. The stablecoins will be sent within T+3.

Physical LBMA Gold Redemption Process

Redeeming XAUm for physical LBMA gold is at a minimum of 32.148 XAUm, equivalent to a 1kg gold bar. It can be collected via customer pickup or secured delivery.

1. Customer sends a request via Telegram or [e-mail] for physical redemption, with preference for location and collection method.
2. Matrixdock confirms redemption request and relevant details.

3. Customer provide Matrixdock with personal identification documents for KYC verification and subsequent cross-check during collection.

4. Customer transfer the corresponding amount of XAUm to the address provided by Matrixdock.

5. Matrixdock burns the XAUm tokens during the gold release process done with the custodian vault.

6. Customer picks up or receives the gold via secured delivery. Both methods enforce customer identity verification by multiple parties (Matrixdock and custodian vault/delivery) during collection process.
